i'm sitting here waiting for crook to move her ass, so i guess i'll update...
though the summer had a shaky start, things are pretty good now. after weeks of desperate job searching, i finally got handed the best job of my life. It's at a wicked expensive golf course and basically what i do is chill at a snack shack from 8 to 7, cook hot dogs and make sandwiches. i only spend about 40% of my time actually working seeing as most of the time i'm just chillin and waiting for people to come. the people there are wicked nice (the pro shop guys are hot!) and they tip for everything. and oh yeah, i get to drive a GOLF CART! you're jealous.
but anyway, havent done anything particularly exciting since school got out, there's been a lot of lounging and a lot of tetris (im still gonna win that tournament, F U SCHOW!) i went to orientation with cindy and schow and met some cool uvm people, including the love of my life josh who is very hot and probably very gay.
with cancun in ten days and NO CURFEW to speak of, this summer is gonna be awesome.
and oh yeah, apparently my appearance induces vomiting. who knew?!

This has been one of the strangest weeks of my entire life.
I had a miniature mental breakdown due to an excess of anxiety, responsibility, alcohol and marijuana.
I went to a drag queen show.
I did karaoke in Crook's basement and listened to danny B sing michael jackson (hee hee hee).
I sneaked out of the house for the very first time.
I bonded with people I never even talk to.
I've seen more 30 racks in five days than I've ever seen in my entire life.
I went to the dream machine.
I got over something huge.
And I lost a large of chuck of the small amount of innocence I'm still retaining by discovering that sometimes the people we think we know can do terrible things to us and that trust should be distributed stingily and is easily shattered. There are some things that can't be forgiven or forgotten and we just have to step away and move on.
So I laughed, I cried, I told someone to go fuck themselves for the first time, and I belted out "The Rose" like a champion. But I'm feeling ten times better and smarter and older than I felt last thursday. So bring it on life, I'm ready for ya.
PS: A special thanks to Mo and Crook for listening to me rant on countless occasions and still giving me advice even though sometimes I refused to heed it. <3 u girls.
PSS: Despite all this, this vaca still rocked and I can't think of a better way to end my freedom before lacrosse. Go us, we are awesome.

Yes, it may be seven months from now, but I can't contain my excitement. So the girls and I made a list of ground rules so everyone knows what's in store. These were created to ensure a safe and fun-filled trip.
1) Live and let live. We taking the chill approach on this trip, we would never make you do anything you don't want to do (except for you Heather, you're gonna dance and you're gonna like it) but don't stop anyone else unless its hazardous to their health. I mean really hazardous.
2) Buddy System. We don't go anywhere alone on the seedy streets of Montreal because why get kidnapped and raped alone when you could do it in pairs! JK. But Buddy System, especially when a strange man asks you to go to his sketchy hotel room, let someone else get in on the action too! (right Mo?)
3) NO WAH WAH! If you want to lounge, do it. If you're tired, take a nap. If you're hungry, eat some food. If you don't like where we're going, find a buddy and go somewhere else. We don't want anyone killing each other during the trip.
4) Know you're limits. We'll say this now, we'll take care of you if you get sick, but we really don't want to. Binge drinking is not that cool.
5) Everything goes but sex. We don't want to deal with any Canadian STD's.
6) All single females must hit on/hook up with at least three Canadian men before the trip is out. No exceptions.
7) No. Drama. The point is to become closer because of the trip, not farther apart. Canadian men aren't hot enough to make us fight over them. This is going to be the Zen-est trip we've ever taken.
So we're all going to look out for each other and have to best time of our lives. So if you're going to be around 17 or 18 and you love us and you want in let us know. We're debating whether we should take boys or not. Are there any boys that want to come anyway?
